The Conference Planning Team (CPT) wanted the 2023 theme to emulate the National Service Theme for 2023 and 2024 – Mental Health and Wellness. With the conference in Georgia, the team could not help but think about the phrase “Georgia on my mind.” With caring a central part of mental health and wellness, it was only natural that the theme became “Caring on My Mind.”

The CPT then decided to deepen the theme by having each concurrent session track focus on a particular aspect of caring. Thus we have  . . .

• Care for Self –  A focus on how members can improve their personal wellness and personal leadership development.
• Care for Circles – The idea here is to improve circle operations (such as running effective meetings, best practices for recruitment, etc.) or develop connections amongst the circle (teambuilding, group goal-setting, etc.).
• Care for Community – O∆K members can improve their campuses and communities. We are looking for innovative programs, strategies for developing new partnerships, and ways to utilize your O∆K experiences in post-collegiate settings to uplift our communities.
