Kim Shine

Kim Shine is a versatile media professional with a decade of experience in both television news and radio broadcasting. She is the current production manager for HYFIN Radio in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Before radio, Shine spent 8.5 years in television. She served as a reporter, anchor, and producer in several news markets. Her coverage has had local, national, and international reach.

Shine is also an author. Her book, “On the Other Side of Everything,” explores life’s challenges through introspective and humorous poetry, drawing from her personal journey of growth and independence.

Originally from Chicago, her formative years were split between the city, its suburbs, and Southwest Georgia. Shine holds degrees from Grand Valley State University and Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

Bruce Jackson

Dr. Bruce H. Jackson has dedicated his career to the development of individuals, teams, organizations, and communities that seek to maximize influence, leadership, and change.

Dr. Jackson has worked with Fortune 500 companies, colleges/universities, and non-profit institutions to develop and implement principles of performance, leadership, and change—for professionals, students, and public servants alike. He is the founder of Attentional Leadership™ Institute (formerly IAHE)—a strategy, training, assessment, and coaching firm dedicated to helping individuals, teams, and organizations achieve peak performance. He wrote Finding Your Flow: How to Identify Your Flow Assets and Liabilities—the Keys to Peak Performance Every Day to increase awareness, clarify driving principles, and engage in strategic and focused change.

Dr. Jackson directs the C. Charles Jackson Foundation and Charlie Life & Leadership Academy (Charlie Academy) – advancing centers, programs, online training, and research to support emerging young leaders.  Omicron Delta Kappa is launching a partnership with the Charlie Academy to provide discounts to all members seeking to expand their leadership skills and abilities through this unique self-paced online program.

 

Joseph E. "Joe" Johns

Joe Johns was inducted into ODK in 1979. He is an Emmy and Peabody award-winning television journalist and lawyer. He began his career at WSAZ-TV in Huntington, West Virginia, before moving to WSOC-TV in Charlotte. After accepting a position at NBC-owned WRC-TV in Washington, D.C., he later became Capitol Hill Correspondent for TODAY and other NBC  News programs. In 2004, he joined CNN Domestic, where he remained until this year. He is a graduate of Marshall University and American University Washington College of Law. Besides covering Congress, Johns has also covered the U.S. Department of Justice and the Supreme Court.  He was assigned to the White House during the administration of President Donald J. Trump. Joe Johns is currently a lawyer in private practice in Virginia.
